Wildlife photos from my trip to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons.

Sidehill Gouger
- These herbivores are highly adapted to living on steep hillsides. The legs on one side of their body are longer
than the legs on the other, allowing them to stand comfortably on sloped terrain. We chased this one down into a flat meadow,
where it ran in circles until it became exhausted and had to lie down.

Holstein Cow- For a common dairy cow, this animal proved VERY difficult to milk.

Feral Scrub Hen - It tasted delicious

Arboreal Acorn Badger - This creature is very protective of its nuts.

Shrieking Death Marmot - This picture was taken just before the beast leapt from its perch onto a party on the mountain below
us. It slew several of the pack animals with its venomous fangs before the survivors were able to kill it with fire.

Elephant - Remarkably, there was wildlife in our condo too. The elephant looked hungry, so I gave him a peanut. You can see it
 in his lap there.

Subterranean Mink - These animals were nearly driven to extinction by coal miners who trapped them for their pelts.

Biting Worm - Not related to the common earthworm. The animal in this picure delivered several painful bites to the child holding it.
Shortly afterwards, the excitement proved too much for the little guy, and he fell into a very deep sleep.

Common Yeti
- If you look closely at the mountain in the background, you can see a yaggle of Yetis charging across the snow. ("Yaggle"
is the technical term for a group of Yetis.) I believe they were being pursued by a Shrieking Death Marmot
